Road sawing is the first step in almost every utility trench, pavement repair and driveway connection. A saw cut defines the edge of the work so the pavement can be excavated without tearing up the surface around it, and so reinstatement can be finished neatly against a sound, straight edge.
Cutaway cuts asphalt and concrete pavements for civil contractors, plumbers, electricians, telecommunications crews and builders across Sydney. We cut trench lines for water, sewer, stormwater, gas and NBN connections, cut out failed sections of road and car park for patching, and cut driveway crossovers and kerb sections for new connections.
Our road saws cut wet, keeping dust off the street and the blade running true. Slurry is controlled and cleaned up so it doesn't run into stormwater drains.
Utility trenches and connections
For service connections, a clean saw cut either side of the trench line keeps excavation tidy and limits damage to surrounding pavement. Councils and road authorities expect straight, square reinstatement edges, and that starts with a good cut.
We work around your excavation crew's schedule, cutting ahead of the digger so the job keeps moving.

Car parks, driveways and crossovers
Commercial car parks, loading docks and residential driveways all need cutting for drainage upgrades, joint repairs, patching and new connections. We cut asphalt and concrete pavements, kerbs and gutters to the lines you mark out.
On busy sites we work around traffic and access, coordinating with your traffic control provider where the job sits on a public road.
